About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer
to join our growing engineering team in Belgrade. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation that powers our betting and gaming platforms.

You will focus on CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and environment consistency, working closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep cloud expertise, strong automation skills, and a passion for improving scalability, resilience, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Mentorship
  Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK, ensuring deployments are repeatable, secure, and scalable.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, ensuring consistent, scalable, and secure deployments.
• CI/CD Automation
  Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI), enabling fast and reliable deployments across services and applications.
• Observability & Monitoring
  Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, or similar. Ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues.
• Security & Compliance
  Apply DevSecOps principles by integrating security practices into pipelines, managing access controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Environment Consistency
  Support the consistency of development, staging, and production environments, reducing risk and improving deployment confidence.
• Collaboration
  Partner with developers, QA, product managers, and architects to align DevOps practices with business goals and delivery milestones.
• Continuous Improvement
  Stay current with the latest DevOps, cloud, and automation trends. Propose and implement improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and developer productivity.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in DevOps engineering,

Technical Expertise:

• Knowledge of AWS core services.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, EKS/ECS).
• Monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).

Security & Compliance:

• Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

Collaboration: Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.

• Leadership: Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving cultural adoption of DevOps practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in betting or gaming platforms, including high-availability, real-time systems.
• Knowledge of multi-tenant architectures and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with performance testing and capacity planning for large-scale platforms.
