To be successful as a “Senior DevOps and AWS Engineer", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Experience in infrastructure build and lifecycle management.
Experience working with AWS Cloud, CloudFormation, API Gateways etc.
Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools, preferably Chef.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, ITRS, AppDynamics and ESaaS.
Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment on Kubernetes.
Experience with Gitlab CICD pipelines, automation, and integration with tools like SonarQube and Veracode etc.
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting with Shell and PowerShell.
Good understanding of security protocols (e.g., TLS), SSL certificates, and configuration settings.
Familiarity with tools like CyberArk, CSM, Veracode and SonarQube for code quality and security scanning.
Understanding networking concepts and firewall configurations.
Experience on web hosting services like Apache and JBOSS.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation templates for multi-environment deployments
CI/CD Best Practices: GitLab Runner configuration, pipeline optimization, artifact management, and deployment strategies (blue-green).
Container Orchestration: Kubernetes cluster management, Helm charts.
AWS Services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53, and AWS security best practices.
Version Control: Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Observability & Monitoring: ELK/EFK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
Security & Compliance: DevSecOps practices, vulnerability management.
Disaster Recovery: Multi-region deployments, backup automation, RTO/RPO planning.
This role will be based out of Pune.
