
[What the role is]
The Global Innovation Network Division (GIN Division) oversees the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA), a key national platform that strengthens Singapore’s connections to major global innovation hubs. GIA supports Singapore-based startups in accessing overseas markets and driving cross-border innovation, with a particular focus on growth-stage and deep tech.
As part of the GIN Division, you will work closely with public and private sector partners to develop and operationalise Go To Market pathways and cross-border R&D initiatives, with an emphasis on enabling commercialisation outcomes for Singapore based startups.
[What you will be working on]
As part of the Global Innovation Network Division, you will:
• Design and implement specialised market-access partnerships tailored to industry-specific and deep tech needs, with a focus on demand-driving partnerships and targeted Go-to-Market acceleration programmes
• Develop and manage cross border R&D partnerships with overseas partners, including corporates and enterprises, research institutes, and institutes of higher learning
• Undertake data and strategy reviews to ensure programmes and policies are relevant to stakeholder needs• Monitor and evaluate programme ou
tcomes, including market traction, successful partnerships and R&D milestones
• Drive strategic marketing and branding initiatives and partnership for GIA programmes through various channels to enhance global visibility, attract quality startups and international partners, and position Singapore as a leading innovation hub.
[What we are looking for]
• Independent and strategic thinker with proven ability to structure partnerships, evaluate opportunities, and build relationships across diverse stakeholders including corporates, accelerators, and research institutions
• Recognised degree in Business, or Technology related disciplines with at least two years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in business development, corporate innovation or international market development, startup and innovation work would be advantageous.
• Team player who is meticulous, comfortable with multi-tasking and juggling projects over tight timelines, effective at stakeholder management and engagement, and possess strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Willing and able to travel.
