We have a new opportunity for a Senior Development Manager to join our development department. Reporting into the Head of Development (Building Remediation South), the Senior Development Manager (Building Remediation) will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects in the building remediation programme.
The overall programme consists of sixty residential blocks. The scale and scope of each project varies, some projects require negotiating terms for the remediation of the buildings with the original contractor, whilst others require the procurement of a new third party contractor. Buildings over 18 metres will be subject to the new building gateway process administered by the Building Safety Regulator. A number of funding sources are available and the successful candidate will ensure projects meet grant funding requirements.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced development professional to be pivotal in contributing to the delivery of the Group's building remediation programme. Central to this is implementing the appropriate technical solution for each building, in line with the legal and funding requirements. Communication with internal and external stakeholders will ensure the smooth running of the programme.

Sanctuary Group is a trading name of Sanctuary Housing Association, an exempt charity.

We are Sanctuary.
We were set up more than 50 years ago and now provide housing and care in England and Scotland to more than a quarter of a million people, owning and managing around 120,000 units of accommodation. We exist to serve our customers and communities.
Our mission is to build affordable homes and sustainable communities where people choose to live.
We are a not-for-profit housing association, which means we don’t make profits for shareholders. Instead we invest all the income we make – every penny – into delivering on our social purpose.
We play our part in tackling the national housing crisis by building good quality affordable homes all over the UK. We build to a wide variety of needs and styles, with the aim of creating or adding to a sustainable community. Our regeneration projects transform communities by listening to residents and putting their needs first.
Social housing is at the core of what we do, and we believe secure, good quality accommodation can be the foundation that enables people to achieve their goals in life.
