EXCITING ASSIGNMENTS

• Successful implementation and overall responsibility of product and process development on customer designed products throughout all NPI project phases on a global scale (design, prototyping, ramp up, mass production, ramp down)
• Direct communication with customers in collaboration with the sales team to coordinate interactions and ensure internal alignment of schedules and work tasks.
• Leading the project team for product development, technology and quality in cooperation with Plansee internal expert group
• Definition of product specifications, evaluation of manufacturing process and technologies, assistance in cost and investment calculations for production readiness
• Responsibility of process setup and process control requirements for all product related manufacturing steps
• Integrate, organize, and coordinate various internal and external resources to ensure on-time delivery of product projects.
• Focus on new product developments, customer needs, and product functionalities; conduct research and analysis to provide solutions, continuously improve product performance, and enhance user satisfaction.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Having a technical background education (Metal Materials Science and Materials Processing highly preferred) with 5-10 years of professional working experience with external customers.
• A Master’s degree or higher is required.
• Having experience and strong capabilities in New Product Introduction and Process Management is essential.
• Strong ability to interpret customer needs and provide innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with production, sales, marketing, and customers as needed to support continuous product development and sales.
• Willing to understand every manufacturing process – strength and weakness of the current process, regular visit in production, find out the issues (from either production or data).
• Deeping dive into details with high result orientation and being able to process data analysis.
• Open-minded, capable of working in a cross-cultural environment, with strong learning ability and a high level of motivation to learn.
• Being stress resistant and being flexible in working hours and location.
• Multiply tasks and prioritization management.
• Having excellent communication skills in English.
