What you'll do:
Responsible for the design & development of existing mechanical and/or electronic product components and creation & validation of new components. Additionally analyses technical solutions with suppliers, factory, and other functions. Works autonomously, following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement. Solves a range of straightforward to complex problems.
In detail, you will:
Deliver Project timing, investments, cost on time and on budget
Design & development of existing/new product components
Create & validate new components
Drive the design of product/module architectures and related technologies in line with the generation plan
Validation and release of (mechanical) structural components within time frame, cost target, quality level, and process constrain
Understand technical tests results to take decision on design development and final approval for module development
Initiate technical feasibility study for projects with inputs in business feasibility study
Analyze technical solutions with suppliers, product care and other involved functions
Ensure that all engineering requirements and modifications are represented on the engineering drawings
Master robust design tools using (CAD, CAE, FMEA, DFMA, tolerances analysis etc.) to develop 2D, 3D CADs, prototypes
Discuss the manufacturing process for product and component development with PD-ME Team to ensure clear direction and understanding of the desired result
Support the product care team in cost and quality improvement activities
Prepare and maintain product files (BOM, Drawings, Specs, Test Specs.) on Team Center
Qualifications:
Bachelor ’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
7+ years’ experience in relevant experience in new product development with responsible parts/components developments
Experience in Project Management Methodology (PMP) is a plus
Good English proficiency (both spoken and written)

Where you'll be:
You will be based in our Rayong plant and report to Senior Manager.
