About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior RPA UiPath Developer based in Navi Mumbai, India. 

In this role, the individual will lead the design, development, deployment, administration, and support of enterprise automation solutions using UiPath and related intelligent automation technologies (Microsoft Power Automate, and SAP Build Process Automation). The role includes maintaining the UiPath platform, governance, security, operational support, and production stability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure automation solutions. The individual will drive automation initiatives throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from solution design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production support. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade automation solutions usingUiPath Studio and REFramework .
  • Design and implement integrations with SAP, non-SAP applications, databases, APIs, cloud services and enterprise systems 
  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable automation solutions that align with business objectives and technical standards. 
  • Develop reusable automation frameworks, components, standards, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency and maintainability 
  • Manage and support the on-premises UiPath platform, including Orchestrator, Robots, Studio environments, and related infrastructure components. 
  • Configure and administer platform access, security roles, governance controls, licensing, and environment management. 
  • Monitor platform health, bot performance, automation utilization, and operational KPIs to ensure platform reliability and scalability. 
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, platform issues, and production incidents while providing ongoing support for business-critical automations 
  • Participate in platform upgrades, deployments, release management, and environment promotions across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments. 
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD practices, source control, deployment automation, and release governance. 
  • Conduct code reviews, solution design reviews, and technical assessments to ensure compliance with development standards and best practices. 
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, solution design documents, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and support procedures. 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and solution architects to ensure secure, scalable, reliable and compliant automation solutions. 
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on automation design, development, deployment, and support. 
  • Support intelligent automation initiatives leveragingAI, Document Understanding, Agentic AI, and Generative AI technologies where applicable. 
  • Develop and execute automation testing strategies to ensure solution quality, stability, reliability, and performance. 
  • Continuously evaluate emerging automation, AI and other technologies and recommend innovative solutions that create measurable business value. 
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects to define automation, AI, and technology roadmaps, standards, and strategic direction.  
  • Drive Agile project execution, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT discipline. 
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise automation solutions using UiPath. 
  • Experience supporting and administering enterprise-scale UiPath platforms in production environments. 
  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification or related UiPath certifications preferred. 
  • SAP Build Process Automation, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or related certifications are preferred.

  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL).  

  • Databases: SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.  

  • AI & Intelligent Automation: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI/Cognitive Services, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Builder.  

  • Security & Governance:Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Credential Management, Governance Controls, Audit & Compliance. 

  • Monitoring & Support: Production Support, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, Platform Monitoring, Performance Optimization. **

  • Additional Skills (Preferred):Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, SAP Build Process Automation. 

  • Developer Productivity: GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development tools.

  • The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential.
