This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer | Integration based in India.
This is a senior integration engineering role focused on designing, developing, and deploying scalable integration applications and microservices. You’ll work at the intersection of APIs, middleware, cloud platforms, automation, and enterprise systems. The role offers the opportunity to build integrations from the ground up while ensuring reliable deployments and maintainable solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with Salesforce teams, QA engineers, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions. Your work will support complex healthcare and life sciences workflows, connecting systems and improving operational experiences. The environment is remote, collaborative, and suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integration applications, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
- Build new integrations from scratch and ensure reliable, smooth deployments across environments.
- Develop clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using Git/GitHub version control.
- Design and implement API-based integrations, middleware solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain MuleSoft solutions using DataWeave, major connectors, and the MuleSoft platform.
- Work on Salesforce integrations and collaborate with Salesforce engineers to deliver connected solutions.
- Partner with QA engineers and business analysts to understand requirements, validate solutions, and deliver against business objectives.
- Implement unit tests, database interactions, security controls, and other engineering best practices.
- Design and develop RPA bots using MuleSoft RPA where required.
- Explore and contribute to Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions where applicable.
- Identify opportunities to improve integration architecture, development practices, performance, and reliability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience within a mid-to-large-sized organization is mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of MuleSoft, including DataWeave, major connectors, platform capabilities, and integration patterns.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing APIs, middleware integrations, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of integration methodologies, API design principles, and distributed application architecture.
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub and experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong database knowledge and an understanding of database interaction and security best practices.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, testing practices, and scalable software development.
- Familiarity with RPA and MuleSoft RPA is a plus, while experience with MuleSoft IDP is also advantageous.
- Knowledge of additional integration platforms or technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while managing priorities and delivering high-quality solutions independently.
