Job Description

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

Experience: Minimum 3 years in C# development with extensive expertise in Blazor

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using C# and Blazor.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions.
  3. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and coding standards.
  4. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  5. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  6. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements, and apply them to enhance our development processes and products.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by clients or internal teams in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in C# development.
  2. Extensive experience with Blazor, including both server-side and client-side implementations.
  3. Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  4. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  5. Experience with database design and SQL, preferably with knowledge of Entity Framework.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with other web development frameworks and technologies.
  2. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  3. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
