Job Summary

The Cerner Millennium EHR Analyst is responsible for providing support in the implementation, optimization, and day-to-day operation of Cerner's Millennium suite of Solutions. This role involves assisting in system configuration, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with healthcare providers to ensure the effective use of the scheduling platform. Module Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Cerner's EHR Solutions and at least 1-2 modules such as: • PowerChart • CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) • Cerner Ambulatory • Cerner FirstNet • Clinical Documentation • ePrescribe • PathNet (Laboratory) • RadNet (Radiology) / PACS • PharmNet (Pharmacy) • SurgiNet (Surgery) • ProFile (Revenue Cycle Management) • HIM • Clairvia • RevElate • Cerner RCM • CareAware/BMDI • FetaLink & Women's Health • Soarian Invision Roles and Responsibilities: • System Configuration: Assist in configuring and customizing the Cerner Millennium Scheduling Solution to align with the organization's specific needs and clinical workflows. This may involve setting up scheduling templates, appointment types, and user interfaces. • User Support: Provide frontline support to clinical staff and end-users of the scheduling system, addressing inquiries, issues, and user training needs. • Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining data integrity within the Cerner EHR system by ensuring that appointment data is accurately captured and follows best practices. Implement quality control measures to verify the accuracy of data. • Workflow Analysis: Collaborate with healthcare providers to analyze scheduling workflows and identify areas for improvement. Work towards streamlining and optimizing scheduling processes using the EHR. • Documentation: Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and issue resolutions. Ensure that documentation is readily available for reference and audits. • Training: Provide training to clinical staff and end-users on how to effectively use the scheduling system. Create training materials and conduct training sessions. • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports from the scheduling system and analyze data to assess its performance and identify opportunities for improvement. • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that scheduling system usage complies with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use (MIPS/MACRA). • Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and IT teams to understand their scheduling needs and challenges, and work to address them. • Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and troubleshooting issues related to the scheduling system, working with senior analysts or IT teams to resolve problems and maintain system stability. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, healthcare administration, or a related field. • Familiarity with Cerner Millennium Scheduling Solution and at least one other module is a plus. • Basic understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and EHR platforms. •

Key Responsibilities

1. To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs , resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) /new developments based on business/ client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
2. To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.
3. To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements
4. To provide technical guidance to junior developers
5. To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
