Join our team as a Senior APEX Developer (Technical Lead) and lead the modernization of enterprise applications supporting global science and healthcare. You will architect and deliver scalable Oracle APEX solutions, driving the migration of legacy Oracle Forms & Reports to modern, high-performance platforms.

Working across enterprise systems and databases, you will define technical strategy, establish best practices, and ensure secure, robust solutions. In an agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and drive continuous improvement in development standards and delivery excellence.

You will own the full software development lifecycle—from requirements and design through deployment and optimization—helping advance our mission of serving science.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 10+ years of Oracle development experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Oracle Forms & Reports

    • Oracle APEX

    • PL/SQL and SQL tuning

    • Oracle Database architecture

  • Experience leading large-scale migration or modernization initiatives.

  • Proven experience in technical leadership or architect roles.

  • Experience with databases and data modeling (SQL, NoSQL)

  • Proficiency in API development and integration (REST, SOAP, microservices)

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control

  • Expertise in agile development methodologies

  • Experience with enterprise systems integration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience guiding and supporting other developers

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and frameworks preferred

  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
