About the Role
As a 100% remote Senior Developer (Internal Tools), you are going to make a meaningful impact in the fintech world. You will be taking the lead on the development of internal web applications and related services, shaping tools that empower our teams and enhance operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a self-motivated developer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems, and leading technical initiatives. You will have the opportunity to shape internal tools, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the overall success of our distributed team.
Lead the development and maintenance of internal web applications and services.
Design, implement, and optimize scalable front-end solutions using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Ensure seamless API communication and address performance bottlenecks.
Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and clear technical documentation.
Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide solution proposals.
Implement security best practices, including bot mitigation, throttling, and rate limiting (e.g., using Cloudflare).
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and enhance internal tools.
Work independently while ensuring alignment with team objectives and deadlines.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
Adapt to fast development cycles and changing priorities in a dynamic fintech environment.
5+ years in software development roles with solid experience in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and clean code principles.
Solid understanding of API communication and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Strong experience with unit tests, integration tests, and generating clear documentation.
Ability to work independently and constructively with others and taking lead.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience mentoring junior developers, reviewing PRs and creating solution proposals.
Hands-on experience with securing client and server-side code, bot mitigation, throttling, and rate limiting (e.g., using Cloudflare).
Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week. These should be regular hours, daylight in
your timezone, Monday to Friday.
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
Have a good internet connection, hardware available.
