Arctic Wolf is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the SOAR team. SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) is a security operations platform that helps organizations streamline incident response, automate repetitive security workflows, and improve analyst efficiency through intelligent orchestration and automation.

As a Senior Developer 2, you will own the design and delivery of major product capabilities across the SOAR platform. You will work across the full technology stack—building scalable backend services, modern user experiences, and cloud-native solutions. In addition to delivering high-impact features, you will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate across teams to shape the technical direction of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex full-stack features across the SOAR platform.

  • Architect and build scalable backend services using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.

  • Design and develop modern, responsive frontend applications using React and related technologies.

  • Design robust APIs and build scalable microservices that integrate with databases and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

  • Drive architectural discussions and make technical decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Own major product features end-to-end, from design through deployment and operational support.

  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

  • Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, design reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational best practices.

  • Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Product Management, UX, Quality Engineering, and other engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.

  • Strong experience building production-grade applications across both frontend and backend technologies.

  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.

  • Strong hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices.

  • Experience designing and building REST APIs, distributed systems, and microservices architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

  • Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps best practices.

  • Strong system design, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence engineering decisions across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity products.

  • Experience driving architectural improvements and reducing technical debt.

  • Familiarity with observability platforms, monitoring, logging, and production operations.

  • Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives in Agile environments.
