Job DescriptionMechanical design Engineer with product design experience,Experience in Semiconductor products is good to haveMechanical Engineering support to create and updated drawings (2D and 3D)Creating and updating parts lists,Knowledge in Engineering Change Order ProcessBOM preparation, manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge Good Understanding in manufacturing process and welding’sknowledge in GD&T and Tolerance analysisExperience special purpose machinesUpdating BoMClearly marking changes on drawings using revisionUpdating the change log to reflect modifications madeUsing CAD software tools to update and manage drawing revisions.Ensuring that all linked models and assemblies are updated accordinglySubmitting updated drawings for review and approval by relevant stakeholders through Engineering change management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Thoroughly Understand And Refine Design Requirements, Ensuring Alignment With Project Objectives And Customer Needs.
2. Develop Prototypes And Proof-Of-Concept Implementations Using Design Tools Such As Cad Software And 3D Modeling, Validating Design Choices And Enhancing Usability.
3. Mentor And Train Junior Designers By Sharing Knowledge And Expertise Through Structured Training Sessions And Comprehensive Documentation, Fostering A Culture Of Learning.
4. Partner With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineering And Product Management, To Ensure Software Design Integrates Seamlessly With Overall Project Goals.
5. Work Closely With Quality Assurance Teams To Establish Design Quality Metrics And Maintain High Standards Throughout The Design Process.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Product Design Principles And Techniques With A Strong Understanding Of Design For Manufacturing And Assembly.
2. Familiarity With Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing Standards To Ensure Precision In Design Specifications.
3. Experience With Design Software Such As Solidworks, Autocad, Or Similar Tools.
4. Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Certified Solidworks Professional (Cswp) Or Similar Design-Related Certifications.
