Senior Designer
Brooklyn Park, MN | Direct-Hire | Hybrid | $80,000 - $90,000
Konik is partnering with a leading provider of industrial equipment and systems to add a Senior Designer to their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer with a strong background in water treatment or industrial equipment design. In this role, you will create detailed engineering drawings and designs, collaborate with project teams, and ensure designs meet project requirements and customer needs. Senior Designer Responsibilities:

• Review sales proposals, estimates, quotes, customer plans, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Work with project teams to ensure proper design representation of equipment size, function, and process design.
• Create Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) to capture components, hydraulics, chemical feed, electrical, etc., for use by project teams and customers.
• Develop General Arrangement Drawings to communicate critical design details to project teams and customers.
• Create fabrication, installation, and assembly drawings for use by internal production teams and external fabricators and contractors.
• Ensure that manufactured equipment aligns with project requirements and standard designs.
• Assist Purchasing with the qualification process for new suppliers.
• Contribute to the development of new standard product offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Senior Designer Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in water treatment or industrial equipment design, including skid or plant piping layout.
• Associate Degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of SolidWorks experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
