We are looking for someone who is imaginative, innovative, and driven by a passion for finding creative solutions to big problems. You’re just as comfortable designing a social media campaign or rebrand as you are a motion graphic or data visualization.

  • Regularly attends internal client meetings, and is expected to represent the creative team in selected external client meetings.
  • Expert proficiency in design programs (Figma, Adobe Products, AI tools) and master of design principles.
  • Can translate client challenges and goals into solutions through design.
  • Thrives in the ideation stages – enjoys experimenting with design ideas, and collaborating with designers and art/creative directors to see each project through.
  • Is comfortable pushing designers to grow skills and improve work. This person should be comfortable understanding each designer’s strength, and help the team match the right tasks to the right designers.

Responsibilities

  • Design high quality graphics, utilizing our clients’ branding and executing our content strategy
  • Identify creative campaign solutions and have the ability to develop them from start to finish, helping other designers to execute the project and owning the quality the entire team produces
  • Collaborate with our client services teams and media team to provide the best solutions to the solve client’s problems
  • Coordinate with other designers to ensure deliverables meet campaign goals, brand standards, and firm quality expectations

Requirements

  • At least 10+ years of increasing responsibility in the design field, with experience in graphic design, web design, and/or visual arts
  • Full proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and AI
  • Knows motion tools like After Effects and Jitter
  • Experience giving critical feedback to other designers in productive ways
  • Excellent design taste, including composition, color and typography
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced, collaborative production environment

About Bully Pulpit International

Bully Pulpit International (BPI) is an outcomes agency at the intersection of business, politics, and policy.

Born in politics and founded by leaders of the Obama campaign, we apply our unique expertise from these experiences to create sophisticated and customized strategies for companies, causes and candidates.

Our clients include established market leaders, new economy firms, philanthropists, CEOs, and elected officials. What these varied brands share in common is the growing need to establish differentiated and lasting bonds with their consumers in a world of fragmented media, deep skepticism, and rapidly changing culture.

Reputation has never been more relevant to business ROI, and in our view requires consumers to believe — not only in what a brand is saying, but also in why. We combine proprietary technology and deeper insights to build believers with the speed and agility that today’s market requires.

At Bully Pulpit International, we make change possible. To us, this is more than a commitment—it's a passion. Because we truly believe in the work we do.
