Job Description

The Senior Designer is a full-time position within the Marketing team at CARE USA, reporting to the Art Director. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality visual design across digital, video, print, and campaign assets in support of CARE’s brand, fundraising, and marketing initiatives. The Senior Designer is a hands-on creative contributor who translates creative direction, briefs, and brand standards into compelling visual executions. Working closely with the Art Director, copywriters, producers, and cross-functional partners, the Senior Designer ensures that all materials are visually strong, on brand, and aligned with strategic objectives. This role is critical to maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency across CARE’s growing creative output.

Design Execution

  • Produce high-quality design assets across digital, print, and campaign deliverables, including marketing materials, fundraising assets, social content, and internal communications. Translate creative briefs and direction into polished visual executions that meet brand standards, timelines, and objectives.

Brand Compliance and Quality

  • Ensure all assigned work adheres to CARE’s Global Brand Standards and visual guidelines. Partner with the Art Director to implement creative direction and maintain consistency across channels and platforms. Apply strong design judgment to ensure clarity, accessibility, and visual impact.

Collaboration and Creative Support

  • Collaborate with writers, marketers, producers, and project managers to support integrated creative development. Participate in brainstorming and concepting sessions as a contributor, offering design perspectives that strengthen creative solutions.

Production and Asset Management

  • Prepare files for production across formats and channels, ensuring technical accuracy and quality. Support versioning, resizing, and adaptation of assets. Contribute to effective organization and use of digital assets and shared creative resources.

Professional Development and Trends

  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices. Continuously develop craft skills and contribute to a culture of creative excellence within the team.
