Hearst Magazines is looking for a Senior Designer to help drive high-impact, performance-focused digital marketing across our iconic portfolio of brands. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution—creating social-first, motion-driven creative that connects with audiences and delivers results.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Lead digital creative projects from concept through delivery across social, email, and web
  • Design and evolve scalable campaign systems across multiple Hearst brands
  • Translate marketing goals into bold, performance-driven creative executions
  • Partner closely with Consumer Marketing teams to deliver engaging, high-performing campaigns
  • Create social-first content that strengthens brand presence and drives audience engagement
  • Stay current on competitive, cultural, and platform trends to keep creative fresh and effective
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines while maintaining high creative standards

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • A strong digital designer with a standout, social-first portfolio and motion graphics expertise
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms, formats, and brand voices
  • Deep understanding of design fundamentals including typography, hierarchy, color, and composition
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to give and receive feedback constructively
  • A fast, thoughtful problem-solver who performs well under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
  • Clear communicator who is collaborative, reliable, and accountable
  • Hybrid work environment: based in NYC, with an expectation of 4 days per week in the office

The base salary for this role is between $87,000 – $88,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
