Job Description

Senior Manager Global Design Strategies, Luxury Brands | Windsor, UK

For those who believe luxury should restore, awaken and leave a lighter footprint, this is a chance to shape hospitality that feels as meaningful and transformative as it is beautiful.

Six Senses, Regent and InterContinental sit at the top of the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio, and all are growing in a highly competitive and fast-moving creative market. Design strategy is what gives each brand its edge, style definition, emotional impact and unmistakable soul. Working at the intersection of brand articulation, guest experiences, luxury and UHNW consumer insight and hospitality innovation, this role translates brand strategy into compelling physical design and style experiences.

As our Senior Manager Global Design Strategies, you will help shape the stories, design concepts and atmosphere cues that help owners, architects and design partners bring our luxury brands to life. Part creative visionary, part design translator, you will connect brand ambition with scalable design guidelines and style programmes that move the commercial performance and guest love for each brand. This role will report directly to the Global Head of Design Strategies, Luxury & Lifestyle Brands with coordination across the global business and key brand leaders.

What you'll do

  • Lead the development and implementation of global brand design strategy initiatives across InterContinental, Regent and Six Senses. This includes our hotel projects as well as resort and Branded Residential guidelines.
  • Oversee new design strategies and Design Signatures, working with external consultants and internal stakeholders on design, atmosphere and style toolkits.
  • Ensure every strategy clearly differentiates each brand with a clear and scalable point of view in a highly competitive and growing market.
  • A champion for sustainability, technology and well-being strategies across all brands.
  • Own the InterContinental and Regent scent and sonic identity, colleague attire and OS&E programmes, along with build standards and the annual brand standards process.
  • Work with the Six Senses team to build strategic initiatives around sustainability and experiential design.
  • Coordinate the Luxury Fundamentals toolkit to ensure all of our design initiatives (cross-categories) are leading to the basic requirements for our luxury guests and owner investments.
  • Keep brand toolkits and playbooks current for regional and hotel teams, monitoring the commercial impact of design initiatives.
  • Support the development of brand films and presentation materials for growth and brand design immersion opportunities.
  • Manage project budgets and agency contracts.
  • Manage all internal communications and relationships across operations, F+B, development, guest shared services, procurement and brand standards teams globally.
  • Present to key leaders with updates and progress on initiatives on a regular basis.

What you'll bring

  • A qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture and significant experience in luxury hospitality design, spanning design implementation, hotel styling and creative strategies.
  • Hands-on experience working with luxury brands, aesthetics and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable and regenerative design practices.
  • A track record of partnering cross-functionally and cross-culturally in a global organisation.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead virtual teams of external consultants and agencies.
  • Process discipline: organised, detail oriented and comfortable leading virtual teams of consultants and agencies.
  • A good working knowledge of InDesign, PowerPoint and Excel – able to build presentations and communications through graphic design tools (SketchUp experience a bonus).

This is a rare opportunity for a creative design strategist who can turn regenerative thinking and sensory experience into places guests don’t just visit but truly feel. If that sounds like your kind of work, we would love to hear from you. Apply now.

Closing date for applications Tuesday 21st July 2026
