We are seeking a Senior Dental Chairside Assistant (DCA) to help us deliver excellence in patient care and support.

This newly created, Full-time role over 4 days presents an exciting opportunity to join our collaborative team in South Perth, supporting our Prosthodontists with both restorative and surgical care. As a Senior DCA, you will play an integral role in the treatment process, working directly alongside specialists in implant surgery (both in-chair and under GA), offering a rare opportunity to influence outcomes at the highest level of care.

What We’re Looking for:

We are looking for someone who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence. You will be a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience as a Dental Chairside Assistant, and 5+ years as a surgical nurse, with expertise in implant surgery. Familiarity with Straumann implant systems would be an added advantage. You will be motivated by a team-oriented environment and have a clear commitment to providing exceptional care with integrity and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical support for restorative and surgical procedures, working directly with Prosthodontists.
• Assist with implant surgeries, including in-chair and under general anaesthesia.
• Manage patient care with a high level of empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment that prioritises teamwork and patient outcomes.

Professional Requirements:

• Formal qualifications in a recognised DCA program (Cert III and Cert IV in dental nursing preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a surgical nurse with comfort in implant surgery.
• Strong knowledge of Dental 4 Windows or a willingness to learn, along with proficiency in MS-Outlook and MS-Excel.
• Straumann implant system knowledge (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.

The Role:

• Working hours: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (with flexibility to stay until 6:30 PM if required).
• No weekend work.
