About the role:

As a Senior Demand & Supply Planner, you will be at the heart of our supply chain strategy, shaping how Arthrex delivers innovative products across Australia and New Zealand.

In this role, you will combine marketing insights, statistical analysis, and sales trends to forecast future demand with precision. You will lead critical processes including demand planning, supply and backorder management, and inventory optimization to keep our operations running seamlessly and ensure business goals are met.

You will also drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for key product groups, collaborating with cross functional teams to achieve best in class demand and supply performance. This is your opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our ANZ business!

The role will include the below main areas:

Demand Forecast

  • Manage market demand plans, analyse trends, and incorporate commercial inputs to improve forecast accuracy. Support sales with tools and insights and regularly review parameters to enhance performance.

Supply and Backorder Management

  • Plan inventory levels to ensure product availability, address supply risks, and maintain strong communication with the global supply chain team.

Inventory and Obsolescence Management

  • Monitor inventory and safety stock to reduce excess and obsolescence risk. Collaborate with product teams on phase-in and phase-out planning.

Sales and Operations Planning

  • Prepare materials and lead S&OP meetings to align demand forecasts with financial plans.

Performance KPIs

  • Track and present monthly KPIs, recommend actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.

About You:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in planning or related roles
  • Background in the medical device industry and end-to-end supply chain operations (not essential but preferred)
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills (preferred)
  • Power BI an advantage.
