Job Description

Who We Are

As one of the fastest-growing on-the-go drinkware companies in America, we’ve got a reputation for doing great things. Our vision is simple - bring delight to eating and drinking.

Delight is different to everyone. Whether it’s the perfect cup of coffee, or a water bottle that helps you crush your workout, our mission is to make it look great, function perfectly and cost less than you’d expect.

Delivering on this promise takes extraordinary efforts and exceptional people. Through our teams’ ingenuity and grit, we’ve created a place where the best ideas win, and they can come from anyone. Our culture combines the scrappy spirit of a startup with the perks of a market leader.

We believe the right way to design products starts and ends with two key ingredients: process + people. Process is the path that takes us from ideas to products that are on brand, on time and on budget. People are the secret sauce that adds ingenuity every step of the way.

Together, we navigate each day with optimism, curiosity, a healthy sense of humor and a strong allergy to the word “no.” This desire for better, coupled with a deep understanding of consumers’ daily lives, gets us to meaningful delight.

About the Role

Leapfrog Brands is looking for a strategic and analytical Senior Demand Planner to help drive forecasting excellence across key retail partners for our growing consumer brands, Ello and Zulu. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment who can balance data, cross-functional partnership, and customer strategy to improve forecast accuracy. You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, customers, and overseas factories while helping shape smarter planning processes that directly impact business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the management and continually improve at the SKU-level for a rolling 12-month demand forecast for key customers
  • Provide detailed reports and supporting information for the forecast and highlight changes from previous forecasts
  • Independently meet with Sales and Operations stakeholders on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis to revise and develop customer forecasts and challenge numbers when necessary
  • Focus on improving current forecast accuracy, assessing quarterly with sales and operations teams with proposals for improvements in process
  • Work cross functionally in weekly meetings to ensure ad hoc customer-exclusive forecast timelines are met within the limitations of supplier lead times
  • Communicate with planning counterparts at key customers to understand seasonal ordering strategies, day to day ordering patterns as well as overall inventory strategy and shifts
  • Organize separate customer forecasts by category, brand and department and recognize products’ differing performance in each customer or channel
  • Study statistical forecasts and help resolve issues in adjusting sales history
  • Aid supply planner in writing purchase orders to factories in China as needed
  • Mentor junior demand planners in forecasting best practices

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field, or equivalent working experience
  • 5+ years forecasting / demand planning experience in a fast paced environment
  • An Excel master in data management and forecasting methodologies; expertise in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization software (i.e. Power BI, Qlik) preferred
  • Ability to manage large data sets and extract meaningful insights to help drive business decisions
  • Direct experience with Amazon Vendor Central preferred
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results

Benefits at Leapfrog
