Job Description

Job Purpose

The Sr. Demand analyst will be responsible for creation of analytics (Processes, Tools & system) and execution of activities related to IBP (Integrated Business Planning). This role will ensure data consistency and accuracy across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and production of Pre-DRM tools and reports to support core commercial cycle activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and upload forecast volumes in system, ensuring accurate data is published.
  • Oversee data accuracy, consistency, and manage exception reports (e.g., History, Sales, KPI validations, DQIT) in system.
  • Proactively identify and resolve system/technical issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely execution of IBP activities.
  • Design and manage centralized databases/repositories for generating reports, ensuring monthly governance and accuracy of market and regional segmentation.
  • Develop and implement standardized tools and reports based on business requirements, driving automation and standardization across processes.
  • Lead automation projects to improve efficiency and streamline processes across the demand function.
  • Own the creation, management, and delivery of standard dashboards and slide decks for functional users, ensuring timely production for monthly IBP meetings. Senior Analysts are responsible for the full ownership of the dashboards and their maintenance, ensuring they are up-to-date and reflect accurate business insights.
  • Mentor and coach junior Demand analysts in collaboration with the Demand Forecasting Managers – CoE, fostering professional development and skill-building.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, statistics, engineering, finance or a related field. (Master’s degree would be an advantage)
  • 2- 5 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain or a related analytics role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with practical experience using forecasting tools and Excel.
  • Experience running forecast review meetings and engaging commercial stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of supply planning and customer service processes.
  • Experience with SAP, IBP, OMP or other advanced planning/forecasting systems.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or fast-moving consumer goods sectors.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI or other data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and coaching experience.
