The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Delivery Project Manager - Delivery Captain to join the team in Aurora, CO
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Sapphire is seeking an experienced Delivery Project Manager to lead deployments of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Product Data Management (PDM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) subsystems for program sites.
This hands‑on role coordinates with MOM, PDM, and ERP teams to facilitate smooth deployment, business change management, data migration, and program sustainment and support to ensure successful adoption and implementation with minimal disruption to operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Plan and execute deployment schedules for MOM/PDM/ERP subsystems across program sites
Coordinate cross‑functional fusion teams, vendors, and system integrators to meet milestones and deliverables
Define and manage project scope, risks, issues, and change control processes
Facilitate requirements handoffs, integration points, acceptance testing, cutover planning, and post‑go‑live support
Ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance with data governance standards during migration
Coordinate business change management activities: training plans, communications, user adoption strategies, and super‑user networks
Assess organizational readiness, design go‑live support models, and produce role‑based job aids and training materials
Maintain clear stakeholder communication across engineering, manufacturing, IT, and business leadership
Report project status, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and lessons learned
Improve deployment repeatability and reliability
Travel to program sites as required for planning, cutover, and stabilization activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
10+ years of experience working in an environment with competing and changing priorities
10+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
10+ years of experience project management for both small and large projects
Experience in change management as it relates to culture change
Willing and able to travel 40% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience in data migration practices, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation
Experience with integration patterns, middleware, and common data/tools used in MOM/PDM/ERP projects
Experience using MOM
Experience with PDM
Experience in finance or ERP system implementations
