Help us deliver like never before

Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride

Help us deliver like never before

We are hiring a Senior Delivery Lead to play a critical role in shaping high-performing, agile teams and delivering meaningful business outcomes across complex programs of work. You’ll build on strong delivery foundations to lead one or more teams with significant delivery scope, fostering autonomous, empowered and continuously improving environments grounded in Lean and Agile principles. As a hands-on leader and change agent, you’ll drive program execution, manage risk and dependencies, and guide teams through both agile and traditional delivery approaches, while continuously improving how we work and supporting the growth of our most important asset: our people.

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.

What you’ll deliver with us

  • Support the Delivery Manager as the 2IC in the planning, execution, reporting and overall cadence for large programs/tribes
  • Work closely with Platform Managers, Product Owners, BAs, and Product Designers to align on priority and roadmap
  • Coordinate with other technology teams, including external support teams, to support delivery and incident resolution
  • Identify and manage risks and issues across multiple teams and complex dependencies external to the team
  • Support the adoption and continuous improvement of Ways of Working (Advanced)
  • Encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing across multiple teams
  • Work with the technology and experience stakeholders to understand and provide options on how a solution can best be implemented
  • Balancing the viable (product), feasible (technology), desirable (experience) outcomes for a feature throughout the value delivery process
  • Negotiating and influencing positive outcomes at a program and portfolio level
  • Build key relationships with senior leaders

About you

You bring extensive experience leading large, complex delivery teams, with a strong track record of applying and evolving Agile methodologies in dynamic environments. You are confident operating at scale, driving improvements beyond your immediate team and influencing ways of working across programs or portfolios. With a solid commercial mindset, you balance delivery outcomes with business value, risk, and stakeholder expectations. You demonstrate a genuine growth mindset, continuously seeking feedback and opportunities to improve, and you’ve earned strong advocacy and trust from senior stakeholders and sponsors through your ability to deliver, influence, and lead with impact.

You also bring

  • Adobe Ecommerce experience (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to build high value relationships with stakeholders and cross functional teams.
