Job Description

Company: Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc.

TITLE: Senior DB Integration Engineer

DUTIES: Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining integrations between business applications using SSIS, OIC and other ETL tools. Focus will be on application integration between SQL database and Oracle (SaaS), ERP, and 3rd party systems. This role works as part of a team supporting one or more business domains and partners with Product Owner, Technical Project Manager and other IT team members designing and developing SSIS / OIC / SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems. Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process. Debug and tune SSIS, OIC or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data. Ensure changes and updates are fully documented and tested in pre-production environment for any new applications or changes. Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical resolution to support team and other stakeholders.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

SALARY: $178,131 - $264,899 /per year

LOCATION: Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc., 42 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Analyst, or a closely related occupation where required experience gained.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires 3 years of experience in the following:

  • Working with SSIS packages and other ETL tools;
  • Write stored procedures, functions and views;
  • Troubleshoot/performance tune any stored procedures;
  • Develop, unit test and deploy processes; and
  • Work with other teams to develop new ETL processes.
