The client is a U.S.-based digital marketing company focused on helping small businesses and contractors grow through online marketing, content, and sales systems. About the role:


We're looking for a Junior Video Editor to support our client's content production on a part-time, remote PJ contract basis, starting at 5–10 hours per week with potential to grow into a higher workload or full-time role. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional with hands-on video editing experience who wants to grow with international clients, marketing content, podcasts, and social media trends.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own technical depth across the data platform, including ETL pipelines, data warehouse modeling, Tableau infrastructure, and data quality.
  • Design, build, test, document, and maintain reliable data pipelines.
  • Diagnose pipeline failures, harden fragile processes, and improve observability.
  • Review pull requests, participate in design discussions, and support technical problem-solving.
  • Mentor engineers and analysts through pairing, code review, documentation, and best-practice guidance.
  • Establish engineering standards for how data work is written, tested, validated, and maintained.
  • Support technical conversations with business stakeholders and translate business needs into sound solutions.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Designers, QA, and leadership to support distributed ownership of the data workflow.
  • Contribute to the roadmap around BI maturity, predictive analytics, and early-stage AI/ML use cases.
  • Promote documentation and knowledge-sharing across the team.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL, and data warehousing.
  • Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of dimensional modeling, such as Kimball or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL automation tools; WhereScape is strongly preferred, but tools such as Matillion, Informatica, Talend, or dbt are also relevant.
  • Experience with Tableau or comparable BI platforms.
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers through code review, pairing, technical guidance, and shared problem-solving.
  • Comfortable engaging with business stakeholders on technical topics.
  • Professional working English for written and spoken communication with US-based stakeholders.
  • Experience integrating data from e-commerce and SaaS platforms such as Shopify, Stripe, Recharge, Gorgias, or similar is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks is preferred.
  • Exposure to BI strategy, predictive modeling, self-service analytics, or early-stage ML/AI projects is preferred.
  • Experience with RAG systems, LLM applications, or vector databases is a plus.
  • Background in services, consulting, or multi-client environments is a plus.
  • Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones is a plus.
  • Strong documentation mindset and ability to share knowledge across the team.
  • Senior mindset with the ability to influence without formal people-management responsibility.

Salary and benefits:

  • R$ 15,000/month.
  • Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
