Senior Database Engineer

Job Duties: Build and work with SQL Servers for database administration, replication, upgrade servers, and performance tune queries. Implement andmaintaincloud servers using scripts and create user accounts. Monitor serverperformance onon-premises and cloud servers.Analyze and support assigned work tickets on a daily basis.Collaborate with other teams on project work assigned and meet project deadlines.Be available for on-call rotation every 5 months.
MinimumRequirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field plus five years of experiencein databaseadministrator or related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements: 5 years of progressively responsible experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Experience must include at minimum: 5 years of experience with the implementation and support of database replication; 5 years of experience with large databases, upgrades, and troubleshooting performance; 5 years of experience with SQL Server High Availability Architecture (AlwaysOn) and troubleshooting; 5 years of experience with SQL Server configuration and management including MS SQL Server installations and mission-critical systems; 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL coding and stored procedures; 5 years of experience with cloud technologies to support database engines including AWS Database Engines; 5 years of experience working with SANs storage as related to SQL Server; and 2 years of experience with Python scripting or PowerShell.
