Tasks & responsibilities

As a Senior Data to Analytics Specialist, you will:

  • Deliver and maintain recurring, ad-hoc and country-specific reports as part of ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) reporting operations.
  • Generate advanced reports and dashboards – develop complex and business-relevant reports and dashboards tailored to organizational objectives.
  • Design advanced visualizations – create intuitive and interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Lead stakeholder collaboration – independently gather reporting requirements, align with stakeholders, and ensure deliverables meet strategic goals.
  • Validate and test data – conduct thorough in-depth data validation and testing, ensuring high accuracy and reliability of reports.
  • Maintain and enhance published reports – regularly update reports and dashboards while identifying opportunities for enhancements.
  • Document complex processes – create and maintain detailed documentation, including data models, logic, and visualization standards.
  • Provide advanced business support – troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting issues, ensuring timely updates and re-testing.
  • Ensure data compliance and security – act as a key contributor to data governance by ensuring compliance with global/local authorization standards.
  • Develop and deliver training – create comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions for stakeholders.
  • Optimize reporting at scale – identify and implement significant improvements to reporting workflows, tools, and processes.

About our future employee

You should be fluent in English (min. B2 level), have a good command of German (min. B2), and have at least 5 years of professional experience in reporting and analytics, preferably in an SAP-based environment.

Additionally, we are looking for a candidate with:

  • University degree – minimum bachelor’s degree (Business Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics & Mathematics, Economics or similar).
  • Experience in project work and/or run support.
  • Good to extensive experience in SAP / ERP processes.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) would be highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake would be an advantage.
  • Experience with agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) and tools (e.g., JIRA) would be an advantage.
  • Agile, accountable, and proactive mindset with a dedicated solution and result orientation.
  • Analytical capabilities and proven problem-solving competence for complex challenges.
  • Dedicated team player with good communication skills, and a structured way of working.
