We are looking for a Senior Software / Data Tester to support a data-driven transformation initiative. The role will focus on validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, testing reporting solutions, and contributing to test automation within a modern data environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to guarantee reliable and high-quality data products.

What You Will Do

• Test end-to-end data pipelines and data integration processes.
• Perform data quality validation and reconciliation activities.
• Verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
• Test dashboards, reports, and business intelligence outputs.
• Create and execute test cases for data-centric applications.
• Support and expand test automation capabilities.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business users.
• Investigate, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience as a Software Tester, QA Engineer, or Data Tester.
• Strong experience testing data pipelines and data flows.
• Experience performing data quality validation and data reconciliation.
• Ability to test dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Experience with test automation concepts and tools.
• Ability to write and execute structured test cases and defect reports.
• Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques.
• Senior-level experience working in complex project environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in banking, financial services, or industrial projects.
• Exposure to modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT testing methodologies.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.

• Work Location: 100% Remote.
• Working Hours: Ability to work full-time within the Spain time zone (CET/CEST)
• Workload: Full-time (40h/week)
• Contract Type: Temporary / Fixed-Term Contract - 6 months
