As Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal cross-domain role within the Analytics & AI Team, driving advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/GenAI use cases across all our data domains.
Reporting to the Analytic Manager, you will lead Data Scientists across domains and collaborate closely with the AI Product Managers, ML/LLMOps engineers, and the BI and Ad Hoc Analysis squads.
Together, you will ensure a unified, scalable, and innovation-driven approach to data science across the region. Operating within an agile framework, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/GenAI products—from opportunity framing to industrialization and continuous performance monitoring.

Strategic AI & GenAI Leadership
Lead and mentor Data Scientists in an agile (Scrum-like) environment.

Continuously explore and integrate emerging AI and GenAI technologies
End to end AI/GenAI Modeling Ownership
Contribute to the AI roadmap aligned with business priorities
Design, build, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning and Generative AI models (LLMs, RAG systems, personalization engines, recommendation systems, forecasting models, etc.)
Ensure scalable deployment through robust MLOps and LLMOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, APIs, monitoring frameworks)
Implement strong evaluation methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and performance tracking
Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and GenAI methodologies
Collaboration & Business Partnership
Partner closely with Data Scientists and ML/LLMOps engineers to ensure production-ready, scalable AI solutions
Collaborate with other analytics teams to ensure complementarity between descriptive, predictive, and generative use cases
Build strong, trust-based relationships with divisions and markets, acting as a strategic advisor on Artificial Intelligence
Communicate AI/GenAI complex concepts clearly to stakeholders and non-technical audiences

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or related discipline
At least 8 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with strong expertise in modeling, advanced analytics, and machine learning roles
Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g. Scikit-learn, PyTorch)
Experience building production-grade APIs (e.g. FastAPI)
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and production deployment workflows
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
Proven ability to manage end-to-end AI solutions, from problem framing and data collection to modeling, deployment, and performance monitoring
Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based systems (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG architectures, embeddings, evaluation frameworks)
Solid knowledge of model governance, monitoring, explainability, and risk mitigation
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical teams
A keen sensitivity to client experience, ideally within retail/luxury or omni-channel environments
Excellent communication skills in French and English
