Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.Work you'll doAs an Analytics and Insights Engineer III on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:Integrate large-scale client data and conduct statistical analyses supporting investigative, litigation, and claims-management needsDesign and implement artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) solutions, including supervised and unsupervised models, for anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and investigative insights across healthcare, financial, and mass tort dataManage large or unstructured data in Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud using data lakes, serverless computing, AWS Lambda, and extract, transform, and load (ETL) practicesDevelop automated, reproducible, and auditable workflows for data collection, processing, statistical analysis, and reporting; identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and accuracyTrain client personnel on dashboards, analytical tools, and AI-assisted workflows; provide reference materials and ongoing support to promote responsible AI useIndependently review statistical estimates and machine-learning evaluations performed by team members, including population selection, assumptions, calculation logic, and interpretationA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe teamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Our offerings help clients innovate, enhance and operate their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can mature and scale effectively.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degreeAbility to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role5+ years of professional experience applying data science, statistics, or mathematics using Python, R, or another analytical or statistical programming language4+ years of experience developing and training custom AI/ML models using supervised and unsupervised learning, including natural language processing (NLP) for unstructured data2+ years of experience manipulating unstructured data from multiple platforms and using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Elastic X-Pack for data visualization; experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for database administration or SQL programmingAbility to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred:Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) big data and analytics services, including Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Athena, Amazon Aurora, Snowflake, and cloud-based data pipelinesExperience applying Section 508 or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards to dashboards and data visualizationsExperience using dbt, Apache Airflow, or Dagster for data transformation and pipeline orchestrationExperience applying AI/ML methods in litigation-support or other legally sensitive environmentsExperience building data visualizations and presenting quantitative concepts to nontechnical audiencesExperience independently reviewing statistical or machine-learning analyses, including assumptions, methodology, and interpretationThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,400.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
