YOUR MISSION AT VOI

A Senior Data Scientist at Voi you will own and drive one or several high impact business areas with the aim to create customer value by improving decision making of people around the company. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in our ongoing success in the 12 countries we operate in. By joining Voi, you’re joining a company where the data team is at the forefront:

This will include:

• Collaborating closely with business owners around the org to fundamentally understand organisational needs
• Proactively contribute to business and strategy choices
• Driving improvements to how Voi works with and makes use of data and insights
• Applying methods with the right level of sophistication for the question at hand, ranging from simple business cases to advanced statistical models
• Successfully lead projects with large and ambiguous scope or high complexity
• Developing and maintaining data models and KPIs that reflect Voi’s products and business processes
• Designing and analysing AB-tests or other methods to measure the impact of strategic initiatives
• Foster cross-functional collaboration, as well as healthy team dynamics

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK

In addition to being fluent in English we believe the right person has:

• A university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Engineering, Business)
• 6+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist or Analyst in an agile environment
• Great communication skills, both for collaborating and for sharing insights and visions in a captivating and understandable way to any audience
• Strong SQL, data modelling and python skills, and experience with statistical modelling and experimentation
• Extensive experience with owning and leading projects in the data space
• Experience working with dbt and a semantic layer is a plus
