ob Title: Senior Data Protection Officer (DPO) Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Data Protection Officer (DPO) Consultant to support ongoing data protection and compliance initiatives within a complex public-sector environment. You will work closely with the DPO to ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and the AI Act, while supporting strategic digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Support the DPO in maintaining GDPR compliance across the organization.
• 
  Manage and update the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• 
  Conduct and monitor Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments.
• 
  Advise project teams on data protection requirements for new initiatives.
• 
  Track and coordinate compliance action plans.
• 
  Support audits, governance activities, and regulatory compliance.
• 
  Provide guidance on GDPR, NIS2, and AI Act requirements to business and technical teams.
• 
  Contribute to strategic projects involving personal data processing.

Requirements:

• 
  Senior experience as a Data Protection Officer or GDPR Consultant.
• 
  Expertise in GDPR, information security, risk management, and corporate governance.
• 
  Strong experience with audits, DPIAs, compliance monitoring, and data governance.
• 
  Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• 
  Native-level Dutch or French, with English as an advantage.
