Senior Data Manager

Salary: 100k+

Were hiring on behalf of a growing data consultancy for a proven Senior Data Manager to join their leadership team in Dublin. This is a hands-on, client-facing role at the centre of project delivery, people leadership, and strategic growth.

You'll work directly with clients to oversee the delivery of complex, high-impact data projects spanning cloud platforms, pipelines, governance, and architecture. Youll also manage and mentor the internal Clear Strategy team working on those engagements, owning everything from resourcing and performance to culture and development.

This is an excellent role for someone with strong consulting experience, stakeholder credibility at C-level, and a track record of building high-performing data teams.

What youll be doing:

• Serve as a senior leader and escalation point on key client projects

• Own relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring delivery excellence and satisfaction

• Oversee resourcing and forward planning across multiple projects

• Lead and mentor cross-functional data teams engineering, analytics, and governance

• Take full responsibility for project outcomes including scope, budget, and commercial management

• Provide technical oversight and review across data design, architecture, and implementation

• Support the growth and performance of your team through coaching, reviews, and career development

• Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to client strategy and delivery standards

What were looking for:

• 10+ years experience in data roles, including 5+ at senior leadership level

• Strong consulting background ideally with experience in the Irish market

• Proven record leading enterprise data programmes or large-scale platform delivery

• C-level stakeholder management and excellent client relationship skills

• Deep understanding of modern data architectures (cloud, lakehouse, integration frameworks)

• Solid grasp of data governance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, DQ)

• Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and delivery teams

• Strong delivery mindset able to prioritise, context-switch, and remain calm under pressure

• Passion for building inclusive, collaborative, high-trust teams

• Based in Dublin with hybrid work arrangement
