Along the way, you will continue to grow your expertise in data management for market operations and power systems, support software releases, and represent Hitachi Energy in technical discussions with customers and industry stakeholders. This role offers exposure to real‑world grid challenges, opportunities to deepen your technical capabilities, and a chance to make a meaningful impact on how electricity systems operate and evolve.

  • Support software releases by investigating issues, troubleshooting defects, and driving resolutions to closure.
  • Grow and apply data management skills related to electricity market operations, power system analysis, and real‑time control.
  • Improve and maintain software development practices and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical expertise in internal collaborations, customer meetings, and industry discussions.
  • Travel for short periods to support customers and project activities when required.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with research experience developing automation scripts, software applications, or database operations for electricity market data.
  • Formal classroom education in Electrical Power Systems and Electricity Markets.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using high‑performance programming languages such as FORTRAN, C/C++, or Python, along with relational database operations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Linux environment.
