We areseekinga highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, andoptimizedatabase solutions across our Azure cloud data platform. This role requires strong hands-onexpertisein Azure SQL Managed Instance, performance tuning, ETL development, and cloud-based data integration. The ideal candidate will work independently on complex database solutions and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Database Design & Development
Design, develop, andmaintaindatabase schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
Build scalable and high-performing solutions using Azure SQL Managed Instance(experience with SQL Hyperscale is a plus).
Implement and support ETL solutions using SSIS
Develop andmaintainreports and datasets using SSRS
Data Integration & Cloud Services
Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Manage SQLAgentjobs, scheduling, and automation processes.
Collaborate with application and cloud teams to ensure reliable and secure data solutions.
Performance Optimization
Perform query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in transactional and analytical systems.
Implement monitoring and performance best practices.
Collaboration
Work within Agile/Scrum teams,participatingin sprint planning and technical design discussions.
Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
Strongexpertisein Azure SQL Managed Instance
Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, SQL Agent, and ADF.
Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning and optimization.
Strong database design and data modeling experience.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to SQL Hyperscale.
CI/CD for database deployments (Azure DevOps or similar).
Familiarity with Azure Storage, Key Vault, and monitoring tools.
Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
