We areseekinga highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, andoptimizedatabase solutions across our Azure cloud data platform. This role requires strong hands-onexpertisein Azure SQL Managed Instance, performance tuning, ETL development, and cloud-based data integration. The ideal candidate will work independently on complex database solutions and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Database Design & Development

• Design, develop, andmaintaindatabase schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.

• Build scalable and high-performing solutions using Azure SQL Managed Instance(experience with SQL Hyperscale is a plus).

• Implement and support ETL solutions using SSIS

• Develop andmaintainreports and datasets using SSRS

Data Integration & Cloud Services

• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Manage SQLAgentjobs, scheduling, and automation processes.

• Collaborate with application and cloud teams to ensure reliable and secure data solutions.

Performance Optimization

• Perform query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.

• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in transactional and analytical systems.

• Implement monitoring and performance best practices.

Collaboration

• Work within Agile/Scrum teams,participatingin sprint planning and technical design discussions.

• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in SQL Server development.

• Strongexpertisein Azure SQL Managed Instance

• Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, SQL Agent, and ADF.

• Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning and optimization.

• Strong database design and data modeling experience.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SQL Hyperscale.

• CI/CD for database deployments (Azure DevOps or similar).

• Familiarity with Azure Storage, Key Vault, and monitoring tools.

• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
