We are looking for a Senior Data Engineering/.Net Software Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, analytics, and data engineering practices. This role will primarily focus on data modeling, data transformation, analytics workflows, and supporting reporting initiatives within a data-driven environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data and analytics combined with technical exposure to software development technologies such as .NET, allowing for effective collaboration with engineering teams and integration initiatives. As a senior engineer, you will bring strong problem-solving capabilities, technical ownership, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while contributing to the strategic direction of data initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, or related data-focused roles

  • Strong hands-on experience working with SQL and relational database systems

  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines

  • Demonstrated experience in technical ownership, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, and managing stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes, scalable data pipelines, and analytics workflows

  • Perform complex data modeling, data transformation, and data cleaning to support enterprise reporting initiatives

  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, ensuring absolute data integrity and high system performance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate data solutions with .NET backend applications and APIs

  • Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using BI tools to translate technical data into actionable business insights

  • Drive data governance, data quality validation, and exploratory data analysis best practices

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience in several of the following areas:

  • Data Engineering & Architecture: SQL (complex querying, optimization, performance tuning), ETL/ELT processes, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes/Lakehouses

  • Data Fundamentals: Data transformations, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, data quality validation, and data modeling

  • Cloud Data Platforms: Experience working with cloud-based data environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

  • Business Intelligence: Reporting and visualization tools, preferably Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard development) or Tableau

  • Backend & Integrations: Technical background or exposure to software development technologies such as .NET, Java, or React.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

  • Experience supporting enterprise Data Governance initiatives

  • Familiarity with Healthcare or other highly regulated environments

  • Experience with performance optimization and large-scale data processing

Soft Skills

  • Advanced English proficiency

  • Strong communication skills, especially in technical and client-facing conversations

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving mindset, and a continuous learning attitude

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
