Solution Engineering: Set up robust data pooling and sampling solutions using end-user-friendly (self-service) techniques to empower business autonomy.
Analysis & Strategy: Identify trends and anomalies, distilling key messages for management and proposing data-driven remediation plans.
Governance & Integrity: Ensure strict data integrity and compliance with industry standards (Data Governance, GDPR).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and negotiate with internal stakeholders.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Analytics.
Core Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in SQL and knowledge of SAS
Advanced Tools: Expert level in Excel and VBA for complex data manipulation.
Architecture: Proven experience in building data solutions within complex IT environments using pooling and sampling techniques.
Bonus: Knowledge of data visualization tools ( Power BI, Tableau) and experience in the Banking/Financial sector.
The "Self-Starter": High level of autonomy with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
Communicator & Influencer: Strong synthesis and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships.
Resilient: Committed and persistent within a dynamic, multi-cultural environment.
Trilingualism is Essential: Fluency in English, French, and Dutch (written and spoken) is mandatory for this Brussels-based context.
High-Impact Projects: Lead data-driven control and reporting for a major international institution.
Hybrid Flexibility: A balanced work-life approach with 50% on-site in Brussels and 50% homeworking.
Long-term Mission: Initial engagement from March 2026 through December 2026, with strong potential for extension.
The Smile Community: Benefit from the support of our expert network and enjoy monthly team-building and knowledge-sharing sessions.
