Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and curate data from multiple source systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Develop reusable and scalable data models optimized for analytics and reporting consumption, with a strong focus on data quality, performance, and timeliness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and data quality issues to ensure consistent and dependable data delivery.
  • Partner with BI developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready datasets for Power BI and Tableau, supporting semantic layer design and performance optimization.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing dashboards, reports, and visualizations while ensuring consistent definitions, metrics, and governance across reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with analytics, product, and business teams to translate reporting requirements into well-structured and sustainable data solutions.
  • Follow and contribute to data engineering standards, governance frameworks, documentation practices, and participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies, manage tasks independently, provide accurate status updates, and proactively identify risks or dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology with a focus on Analytics, Data Science, or Statistics.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data integration, or analytics engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to develop complex queries and perform advanced data transformations.
  • Practical experience supporting Power BI and/or Tableau, including data modeling for reporting and analytics use cases.
  • Experience working with relational databases and cloud-based data platforms, including modern data ecosystems such as Databricks or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools and CI/CD practices within data engineering environments.
  • Exposure to Python or similar scripting languages for data processing, automation, and transformation.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, metric standardization, and experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, or automation initiatives, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
