Your mission

You will work on different projects to help Astrafy customers get the most out of their data

You will work on both the b usiness and technical sides of customer use cases. Importantly, you will be onboarded with a clear trajectory as a Team Leader, where you will progressively take charge of mentoring, guiding, and managing a dedicated squad of 5 team members as we scale.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership & Growth: Step into a team leader role, progressively taking charge of 5 team members. You will act as their mentor, foster their technical growth, and ensure high-quality project delivery.

• Pipeline Design & Maintenance: Design and maintain scalable data pipelines leveraging technologies such as Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Pubsub, and other Google Cloud / Open Source tools, ensuring efficient and reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

• Cloud Infrastructure Optimization: Develop and optimize data infrastructure in the Google Cloud environment, implementing best practices for performance, cost, and security.

• Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and manage containerized workloads, promoting agility and repeatability across environments.

• Data Governance & Quality: Implement robust data governance, security, and quality measures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.

• Architecture Evolution: Continuously refine data architecture to accommodate changing business needs, scaling solutions to handle increased data volume and complexity.

• Innovation & Best Practices: Champion a culture of innovation by researching, evaluating, and recommending emerging data technologies and industry best practices.

Your profile

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge and han ds-on experience with the modern data stack tools mentioned above (or similar ones) is highly valued.
  
  

• Leadership & People Skills: A strong motivation or proven capability to step into a leadership position. You are ready to progressively take charge of 5 team members, guiding their workflows and supporting their career progression.

• Continuous Learning: Curiosity to stay updated on emerging data technologies, practices, and frameworks, and a passion for sharing knowledge across the organization.

• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional environments to deliver impactful, high-craftsmanship data solutions.

• Languages: You speak English & Spanish fluently. A working knowledge of French is a definitive plus.
