About the Job

This project will deliver comprehensive data products to the FinSys Data Platform team within Employer Foundations. These products will support critical business functions across Accounting, Finance, Payments, and Tax teams, ensuring improved data availability and reliability for multiple stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• 
  Design, build, and maintain comprehensive data products for the FinSys Data Platform team.
• 
  Develop and optimize data pipelines using ETL tools to ensure reliable data delivery.
• 
  Support critical business functions across Accounting, Finance, Payments, and Tax teams.
• 
  Ensure improved data availability, quality, and reliability for multiple stakeholders.
• 
  Manage workflow orchestration and pipeline scheduling across big data environments.
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.

Requirements

Must Have

• 
  Strong Python skills; ideally Senior-level, 5–7 years of experience
• 
  5+ years in a Data Engineering or Data Warehousing role
• 
  5+ years building data pipelines using ETL tools (dbt preferred)
• 
  3+ years of hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, Kafka, Spark, or similar
• 
  Extensive experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases
• 
  Expertise in workflow management and pipeline tools like Airflow
• 
  5+ years of coding experience (preferably in Python)
• 
  Master's degree (or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience) in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
