Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep Capital Markets experience to support the design, development, and implementation of trade lifecycle data solutions. This role will focus on cloud-native data pipelines, trade processing architectures, post-trade operations, and enterprise data engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Design and develop trade lifecycle data solutions across Capital Markets environments
  • Build and maintain cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines and ingestion frameworks
  • Develop .NET-based applications supporting event-driven and message-based architectures
  • Support trade processing, reconciliation, settlement, and exception management initiatives
  • Design scalable data models, schemas, and transaction data architectures
  • Collaborate with business, operations, and technology stakeholders on enterprise data initiatives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Data Engineering experience within Capital Markets environments
  • Strong experience developing ETL pipelines using .NET and deploying into Kubernetes environments
  • Experience with RabbitMQ, event-driven processing, and messaging frameworks
  • Strong understanding of the complete trade lifecycle including execution, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
  • Hands-on experience with DTCC platforms, specifically RTTM and Settlement Web
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 15022 financial messaging standards
  • Advanced experience with SQL Server, performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
  • Strong experience with AWS, including S3, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and RDS
