Senior Data Engineer1
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to support a strategic Salesforce data migration initiative. The role will focus on designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT to extract, transform, standardize, validate, and prepare data for successful migration into the target Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end data migration workflows for Salesforce consolidation initiatives
Extract large-scale data from Salesforce source systems (SF A) into Snowflake staging environments
Build robust DBT models for:
Data cleansing
Standardization
Deduplication
Mapping and transformation
Business rule implementation
Develop reusable and scalable transformation frameworks in DBT
Collaborate with business stakeholders and Salesforce teams to understand:
Source-to-target mappings
Object relationships
Data quality expectations
Validation requirements
Perform data reconciliation and validation between source and target systems
Optimize Snowflake performance for large-volume data processing
Create audit, error handling, and migration tracking mechanisms
Support deployment and migration activities across environments
Troubleshoot pipeline failures, transformation issues, and data inconsistencies
Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed throughout the migration lifecycle
Document migration logic, transformation rules, and operational procedures
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT
Experience building complex SQL-based transformation pipelines
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Experience working with Salesforce data models and CRM objects
Expertise in data migration, ETL/ELT, and data integration patterns
Knowledge of incremental loading, CDC, and reconciliation techniques
Experience handling large-scale data transformation and validation
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills in Snowflake
Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD practices
Preferred Skills
Experience with Salesforce APIs, connectors, or bulk data loading utilities
Exposure to enterprise acquisition/integration projects
Knowledge of master data management and data quality frameworks
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data migration projects
Prior experience in Salesforce migration or consolidation projects is highly preferred

Snowflake certifications
DBT certification
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Exposure to ERP/CRM integration programs
