Where You’ll Work

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado with the expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

Why this Role Matters

We’relooking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, andoperatea scalable analytics data platform that supports key business domains. This role focuses on developinghighqualitydata pipelines, a trusted Snowflake data warehouse, andwellmodeleddatasets that power analytics anddecisionmakingacross the organization.

You’llwork closely with analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders while owning data solutionsendtoend— from design through production.

What You’ll Deliver

  • Design, build, andmaintainproductiongradedata pipelines and ELT workflows at scale.

  • Develop and own aSnowflakebaseddata warehouse usingdbtbest practices (models, tests, documentation, incremental strategies).

  • Partner with analytics and business stakeholders to translate requirements intowellmodeled, reliable datasets.

  • Write andoptimizecomplex SQL for large analytical datasets, ensuring performance and accuracy.

  • Apply strong software engineering practices to data work, including version control, testing, and CI/CD.

  • Integrate data fromthirdpartySaaS platforms such as CRM, product analytics, and finance systems.

  • Produce clear technical documentation, including pipeline designs and data flow diagrams.

  • Takeendtoendownership of data solutions, ensuring quality, performance, andlongtermmaintainability.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operatingproductiongradedata platforms, including scalable data pipelines and cloud data warehouses.

  • 2+ years of production experience usingdbtto build scalable,welltesteddata warehouse solutions.

  • Strong SQLexpertise, including complex analytical queries, performance optimization, and working with large datasets.

  • Handsonexperience with Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses) in a production analytics environment.

  • Strongproficiencyin Python (or anotherobjectorientedlanguage) applied to data engineering, including writing maintainable, tested code.

  • Solid data engineering and software engineering fundamentals, including data modeling, version control ( Git), testing, documentation, and collaboration withcrossfunctionalstakeholders.

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Advanced Snowflakeexpertise, including performance tuning, query profiling, and warehouse optimization.

  • Experience with dimensional and enterprise data modeling methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon).

  • Experience owning analytics solutions for business domains such as Finance, Sales, or Marketing.

  • Advanced Python experience and/or multiple productiondbtimplementations with mature practices (testing, CI/CD,multienvironmentdeployments).

Pay Transparency for Colorado Applicants

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan.

In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
