We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and optimize scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and structure data for analytics and search use cases. You will work with modern data tools to ensure high-quality, accessible, and well-structured datasets.
Build data pipelines that ingest source files into Databricks
Perform data transformation, enrichment, and structuring
Store curated data in PostgreSQL
Index and optimize data for fast retrieval (via Elasticsearch)
Ensure data is searchable and accessible for downstream systems
Optionally leverage Azure services for deployment and orchestration
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
Work with Python and SQL for data processing
Integrate data with Elasticsearch for search capabilities
Optimize data storage and query performance
Collaborate with backend engineers and stakeholders
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Strong experience with Python for data engineering
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Strong SQL skills
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with Elasticsearch (at least one senior in the team should be strong in this – preferred as mandatory for senior candidates)
Nice to have skills:
Experience with Azure (Data Factory, storage, orchestration)
