Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect
About the Role
A large enterprise organization is seeking a Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect to support the implementation of its enterprise-wide data strategy.
The consultant will work closely with the Data Management leadership team to drive data governance, reporting transformation, data architecture, automation initiatives, and data culture adoption across the organization.
This role combines strategic advisory, project coordination, data governance, and solution architecture responsibilities within a complex business and IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and evolution of enterprise data governance initiatives
Coordinate and monitor multiple data-related programs and transformation initiatives
Define and improve reporting and analytics strategies across the organization
Drive data valorization initiatives including reporting, analytics, automation, and AI use cases
Design and support enterprise data architecture and data lineage initiatives
Ensure alignment between data lineage and business process documentation
Lead reporting automation initiatives in collaboration with IT teams
Define governance and prioritization mechanisms for reporting developments
Promote data culture, data awareness, and cross-functional collaboration
Support change management initiatives related to data governance adoption
Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO27001, and NIS2 requirements
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, and governance maturity
Required Experience & Skills
Data & Architecture
Strong expertise in data governance and enterprise data management
Experience with data modeling and data architecture
Expertise in integrated reporting environments (ETL, SQL, data warehouses, data storage, data cubes)
Experience with data lineage and complex multi-source data environments
Familiarity with data governance and catalog tools such as Microsoft Purview, DataGalaxy, or similar solutions
Knowledge of reporting automation and enterprise analytics frameworks
Reporting & BI
Advanced expertise in Power BI
Experience with PowerApps and Power Automate within Azure environments
Experience designing integrated dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
Project & Transformation Management
Proven experience managing IT transformation and data transformation initiatives
Experience with PMO coordination and stakeholder management
Knowledge of ITIL practices and test management methodologies
PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is considered an asset
Technical Environment
Knowledge of Azure data environments
Familiarity with Databricks is a plus
Experience with SAP ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA environments is beneficial
Knowledge of applications such as Oracle, SAP IS-U, LIMS, Lynx, or Windev is an advantage

Contract Details
Role: Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect
Duration: 24 months
Start Date: To be agreed mutually
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite per week
