Job Title: Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – minimum 3 days on-site per week)

Contract Duration: Long-term consultancy assignment (up to 2 years, renewable)

We are seeking a Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect to support the implementation and evolution of an enterprise-wide data strategy within a large-scale utility environment. The role focuses on data governance, data architecture, reporting strategy, and the promotion of a strong data-driven culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Support and enhance enterprise data governance initiatives
• 
  Coordinate and manage data-related transformation and governance projects
• 
  Define and improve reporting and analytics strategies across departments
• 
  Design and evolve enterprise data architecture and data lineage processes
• 
  Drive data usage initiatives including reporting, automation, analytics, and AI solutions
• 
  Coordinate reporting automation projects with IT teams
• 
  Define prioritization mechanisms for reporting and data development initiatives
• 
  Promote data culture, governance standards, and cross-department collaboration
• 
  Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO27001, and NIS2 requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  Strong experience in data governance and data management
• 
  Expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and reporting solutions
• 
  Experience with ETL, SQL, data storage, and data integration processes
• 
  Strong knowledge of Power BI and reporting frameworks
• 
  Experience with IT transformation and enterprise data initiatives
• 
  Understanding of BPMN, change management, and process optimization
• 
  Knowledge of SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
• 
  Familiarity with ITIL and test management practices
• 
  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
