About the Role

We are looking for an experienced BI & ETL Platform Architect with strong expertise in Informatica/IICS, enterprise BI platforms, cloud technologies, platform operations, and architecture

Primary Skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise BI and ETL platforms.
  • Own the design, implementation, governance, and operational support of Informatica PowerCenter / IICS environments.
  • Drive platform architecture, capacity planning, performance tuning, scalability, and reliability initiatives.
  • Lead incident management, problem management, RCA, and continuous service improvement.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure AWS/Azure cloud solutions for BI and ETL platforms.
  • Lead on-premise to cloud migration initiatives for BI and ETL platforms.
  • Manage SSO, SAML, OAuth, Active Directory, authentication, authorization, and identity management integrations.
  • Oversee Linux and Windows platform administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational stability.
  • Drive platform onboarding for new applications and projects.
  • Partner with security, quality, compliance, architecture, and business teams to ensure governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive cloud cost optimization and billing management initiatives.
  • Support POCs and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Act as the Product Owner / Technical Owner for BI and ETL platforms.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across architecture, operations, and support.
  • Maintain architecture diagrams, operational procedures, test cases, integration documents, quality documents, and audit artifacts.

  • Responsibilities: • Lead the architecture, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise BI and ETL platforms. • Own the design, implementation, governance, and operational support of Informatica/IICS environments and ETL solutions. • Drive platform architecture decisions, capacity planning, performance tuning, scalability improvements, and operational excellence initiatives. • Lead platform operations, incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and service improvement activities. • Design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, security, and resilience. • Lead cloud migration initiatives for BI and ETL platforms from on-premises environments to AWS or Azure. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure platform infrastructure meets organizational security, compliance, and governance standards. • Manage authentication and authorization integrations, including SSO, identity management, and enterprise security controls. • Oversee Linux and Windows-based platform environments, ensuring platform reliability, performance, and operational stability. • Utilize cloud cost and billing knowledge to optimize platform usage and maintain cost efficiency. • Lead onboarding of new projects and applications onto BI and ETL platforms. • Drive and support proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies and platform capabilities. • Act as Product Owner for BI and ETL platforms. • Follow organizational processes including Scrum, Kanban, incident management, change management, and quality documentation standards. • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across architecture, operations, and support functions. Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of experience in platform architecture, development, operations, and support activities with strong expertise in BI and ETL platforms. • Proven leadership experience managing platform teams and leading enterprise-scale BI and ETL initiatives. • Strong hands-on experience in ETL architecture design, implementation, administration, support, and operations, preferably using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). • Demonstrated experience architecting and supporting enterprise data integration, data warehousing, and analytics solutions. • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including architecting, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native BI and ETL solutions. • Solid experience with at least one cloud reporting and analytics platform, preferably Tableau or Power BI. • Working experience with cloud migration of BI and ETL platforms from on-premises environments. • Expertise in server administration, SaaS platforms, data governance, and enterprise data management practices. • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. • Strong working knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting, along with Windows operating systems. • Experience implementing and supporting authentication and security technologies, including SSO, SAML, OAuth, Active Directory, VPC, firewall, and identity management solutions. • Proven expertise in cloud cost management, billing analysis, and optimization. • Strong understanding of version control systems, incident management tools, monitoring platforms, and operational support processes. • Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and enterprise connectivity frameworks. • Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • Hands-on experience with Power BI is a plus. • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application within BI and analytics platforms is preferred.
