TITLE: Senior Data Architect

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India

WORK MODE: Hybrid 3 Days office and 2 Days WFH in a week

SHIFTS ANY: 12:00PM to 9:00PM

​Position Overview

• ​We are seeking a Senior DBA role to manage all DB activities within all applications in the business landscape.
• Cost effective deployments and operational efficiency for all the DB’s.
• Regular indexing and address performance bottlenecks by query optimization.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Recommend and deploy high availability setups for scalability and performance.
• Archive unused data and perform systematic archival of decommissioned systems for data retention.

​​ Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of professional relevant experience in database administration and architecture.
• Experience: minimum of 3 years of professional experience in MS Azure.
• Technical Requirements​ SQL Server Mastery: Expert-level T-SQL, performance tuning, AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
• Cloud Architecture: Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.​Security: Implementation of identity management via Microsoft Entra ID.

​ Key Responsibilities​

• Modernization: Deconstruct SQL Server monoliths into modular schemas using Azure SQL Managed Instance.​
• Refactoring: Transition complex business logic from Stored Procedures into maintainable middle-tier .NET code.​
• DevOps: Automate database and application deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.​Preferred Microsoft Certifications​ DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions​AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure​AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications​Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
